Install Grohe Shower Faucets

Grohe shower faucets install into your bathtub with the use of common tools. If you have a good grasp of appliance installation, this project is within reach. It takes about an hour to complete and does not require the assistance of a plumber or special contractor. Homeowners who want to tackle this project themselves can do so as long as they follow the installation instructions carefully. If you have little experience fixing or installing home appliances, make sure to give yourself some extra time.

Instructions

1. Slide the rubber O-ring over the faucet hoses, which extend from the bottom of the faucet.

2. Place the faucet into the sink's mounting hole by first feeding the hoses through the hole and, second, inserting the base of the faucet into the hole.

3. Slide the brace, washer and mounting nut over the hoses at the base of the faucet underneath the sink. Attach the key to the top of the faucet hose and turn it to connect these parts properly.

4. Attach the faucet hoses to the water inlets under the sink by threading the connectors onto the pipes and turning the connectors to the right. Thread the sprayer hose into the faucet spout and pull it out through the bottom of the spout. Now, insert this end of the hose through the body of the faucet

5. Connect the spout to the base of the faucet. Connect the sprayer head to the sprayer hose by attaching the two connectors.

6. Slide the spring over the bottom of the sprayer hose under the base of the faucet. Connect the two halves of the union together and attach to the bottom of the hose.
