Airwalk Shoes


The Airwalk company was started in 1986, primarily to produce footwear for the steadily increasing surfer and skateboarder community. Airwalk later expanded their market to include shoes for the general market.


Types


Airwalk makes both athletic shoes and shoes designed for casual wear, including flip-flops, snowboarding boots, loafers and skateboarding shoes. The company also produces specialty sports shoes geared to draw people under 25. Airwalk's newest specialized shoe is designed for mountain biking athletes.


Styles


Airwalk strives to produce a wide range of colors, fabrics and patterns for their shoes. The company announced a product line containing many original styles including several styles in the Prototype line, the Jim and several other classics to go along with more recent styles.


Function


The company's shoes are geared toward three different areas: casual, active casual and specialty sports shoes.


Sizes


The company makes shoes in sizes ranging from children to adult.


Famous Ties


Airwalk has sponsored such revered skateboarders as Jason Lee and Tony Hawk; surfing legends Joel Tudor and Tom Curren; snow legends Mike and Tina Basich; and BMX legends Dennis McCoy and Dave Mirra.
