Graphic Design Courses In Ireland

Ireland has graphic design courses throughout the country.

A variety of schools in Ireland offer graphic design courses, but only one issues a Bachelor of Arts degree in the subject. The other schools' degree courses include a broader area of study that incorporates graphic design, but do not specialize in it. Graphic design courses in Ireland are available at colleges of further education and take one year of study to complete.

Letterkenney Institute of Technology

LYIT offers Ireland's only Bachelor of Arts in graphic design. The course takes three years to complete. To gain entry students must take the Leaving Certificate in their final year of secondary school. Required subjects include art and English or Irish. Subjects covered during the course include photography, 3D studies, image making, web design, design software, image manipulation and visual communications.
