Directions For A Grohe Shower Faucet

Grohe shower faucets install on the shower valve inside your shower walls. This special valve is made for Grohe faucets and accepts the installation parts required to install the shower. Several specific parts go on in a specific order to complete the faucet. Installation is not complicated if you follow the steps properly and have all parts and tools handy when you begin.

Instructions

1. Remove the plaster guard by unscrewing the screws in the mounting holes with a screwdriver. Unscrew the small screw under the adjusting nut with a screwdriver and slide the nut and stop ring off the faucet.

2. Slide the green nut onto the stop ring and fit the clip into the side of the stop ring. Place this part back onto the shower valve and turn clockwise to secure.

3. Slide the escutcheon, or shower trim, over the faucet head and screw it into place with the two provided mounting screws. Turn the faucet head until the dial mark clicks into the notch in the faucet sleeve.

4. Slide the handle body onto the faucet sleeve until it is nearly flush with the shower trim. Slide the O ring and handle sleeve onto the handle.

5. Place the spacer and handle cover over the end of the faucet handle. Turn the cover to secure it in place on the faucet.
