Upload files to your Dropbox account from any computer.
If you have ever lost important files because of a hard drive failure or if you have forgotten an important presentation file because you couldn't find your thumb drive, you know the importance of backups. Dropbox provides file-backup services for your desktop to deal with these scenarios by automatically backing up your files. It also grants online access to your files when you are away from your desktop. In addition, the service features the option to directly upload your files to the site.
Instructions
1. Log in to the Dropbox account using your username and password.
2. Select the "Upload" link from the navigation bar. A pop-over box will appear with options to select the files you want to upload.
3. Select the "Choose files" link. Navigate to find the files you want to upload. Click "Open." Dropbox allows you to upload one or more files up to a download limit of how much available file space you have on your account.
4. Select the "Start Upload" button. Alternatively, if you use the Dropbox desktop application, you can drag or copy files to your "My Dropbox" folder.
