Frigidaire Oven Not Heating Up

We have a wall mounted electric Frigidaire oven (model # FEB24S5ASC). Yesterday it was working fine, and then all of the sudden the heating elements no longer worked. The digital display panel and clock still works and it still displays the temp as if it was working, but neither the broiler element or the heating element on the bottom of the oven are generating any heat. Check your circuit breaker. Digital display and clock use 120V. Elements use 220V. Originally Posted by Icehouse Check your circuit breaker. Digital display and clock use 120V. Elements use 220V. I went to the circuit panel in the garage and reset all the breakers, and no it still does not heat up. With a voltmeter, carefully remove the elements and test for voltage where they plug in. If no power turn the breakers of and then back on again. If power check the elements for continuity. Found a schematic for your oven. It indicates a thermal breaker. This may need to be reset. Here is the diagram: ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo.../318046219.pdf I ended up having a repair person come out to look at the oven today, we need it fixed ASAP. He partially took it out of the wall and determined the over has a blown fuse inside. He is supposed to come back by Wednesday with the new fuse. Is there something that causes something like this? I'll try to remember the repair man when he returns. Thermal fuses are not resettable. Blew on either high current or high temperature. Verify your oven does not overheat. Originally Posted by szm200 Thermal fuses are not resettable. Blew on either high current or high temperature. Verify your oven does not overheat. As indicated on the schematic the Thermal Circuit Breaker. No mention of a thermal fuse. The tech sheet from Frigidaire mentions about replacing the electronic oven control. Seems it has problems. What else is new. Well, the repair-man returned today to replace the fuse and after taking the oven completely out of the wall he says the fuse was not the problem. The problem is the computer board is receiving power but not sending power. Now it will be about $240 for him to replace the computer board. Of course its 14 months after we moved in (the oven was brand new when we moved in, so the 1 year warranty just ran out). Here's some alternatives: Stove clock/Range timer Replacement/Repair ERCs, Stove Clocks, Mechanical Washer Timers, Dishwasher Controls, Dryer Timer, etc. stove clock repair WB19X5231 I found your control on EBay but they want $172 for it, Sears wants $147. IMHO, both are too high.
