Use The Internet To Help Me With My Intro Speech

If you want to write a good intro speech, the internet is a great place to start. Whether you need a business speech, a professional speech, a college speech or even an executive speech, the internet is a great place to start to find interesting intro speech ideas. I used the net to help me with my intro speech and so can you!

Read below to find creative ways to use the internet to help you with your intro speech.

Instructions

1. Use Google Translate -

Type in the main idea of your speech into the Google Translate box and pick a few languages to translate it into. Then, start off your introduction speech by saying the word in the various languages and ask anyone in the audience if they know what it means. This is a great way to add interest to an intro speech.

2. Use Yahoo Buzz to pick up newsworthy topics - One thing I did to help me with my intro speech was search for news topics relating to what I wanted to speak about. Yahoo Buzz is a great tool for this. Relating your intro speech to newsworthy topics is a great way to get people interested in your speech.

3. Create a poll - Another great way create an intro speech with online tools is to run a poll on a popular website asking a question related to what you are thinking of talking about. For example, if you are going to talk about how growing up in the big city effected your life, run a poll asking people if they like people from the big city. Mention the statistic in the beginning of the speech to create interest and possibly a bit of humor in the speech.
