If you are serious about going to dental school, you have to score well on the DAT (Dental Admission Test). Developed by the American Dental Association, the test consists of four testing areas. You are tested in the areas of natural sciences, perceptual ability, reading comprehension and quantitative reasoning. Preparation is key to performing well on the test. Instructions
1. Visit DAT Review (see Resources below) to download a copy of TopScore Pro®. TopScore Pro® is a computerized preparatory program to help students successfully complete the DAT exam. The software contains over 800 questions and three full-length sample tests.
2. Go to Test Prep Review for a free online practice test (see Resources below).
3. Visit the American Dental Association site (see Resources below). They have a sample test that you can download and print for future reference.
4. Check out Ace the DAT (see Resources below). Ace the DAT offers a preparatory class that includes several sample DAT exams.
5. Navigate to The DAT Professor (see Resources below). The DAT Professor offers study guides, tools and practice exams. Site registration is required to use these services.
6. Visit Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions (see Resources below). They offer preparation for and samples of the DAT exam.
