Some of these courses of study may lead to an additional degree. The grant is for one academic year, with the possibility of extending it for an additional year in order to complete a specific course of study leading to an additional degree. Artists receive a monthly stipend of 750 euros (as of 2010). In addition, DAAD covers travel costs and health insurance.
