The Louisiana Technical College-Lafourche campus is located 13 miles from downtown Houma. The college specializes in education programs that meet the various economic needs of the state. With fewer than 2,000 students, approximately 49 percent of which are full-time, Louisiana Technical College offers various associate degrees and certifications in business, health services, and skilled trades. The tuition is approximately $1,300 per year, and financial aid is available.
