A dentist cares for your oral health.

A career in dentistry can be very rewarding. These can range from prevention and oral health education to restoration procedures and surgery. According to the Association, dentistry also involves an artistic element and is a detailed craft that involves precise handwork.

All Canadian dental schools require the submission of Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) scores. You will attend dental school for at least 4 years, five years if you wish to specialize in a specific area of dentistry, such as orthodontics.
