North Carolina Pest Control License Exam Schools

Pest control professionals require licensing for human safety and environmental protection.

Pest control is an area of expertise in which safety is a primary requirement. Pesticides can pose a danger not only to pests but also to humans. Licensed professionals are needed for responsible application of pesticides, taking into consideration the environmental safety of young children and adults. The North Carolina Pesticide Safety Education Program provides educational resources and training for pest control professionals. North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service Specialists and Agents supports the program covering human safety and environmental issues. The targeted audience consists of private pesticide applicators, commercial applicators and pesticide dealers.
