Top Marketing Master'S Programs

Most highly ranked marketing graduate programs are at business schools.

Master's degrees in marketing are often concentrated degree options within Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) programs; therefore, someone who is looking for graduate programs in marketing should look most closely at business schools. Top business schools are scattered around the country, from Harvard University on the east coast to Stanford University on the west coast; however, in terms of marketing specifically, the most highly ranked degree programs are at Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania and Duke University.

Northwestern University: Kellogg School of Management

Northwestern University's top-ranked Kellogg School of Management offers students who wish to pursue a graduate degree in marketing M.B.A.s through both one- and two-year programs. The school, which opened in 1908, prides itself on offering a consistently rotating selection of elective courses, in addition to a traditional business school core curriculum. At Kellogg, students can major in the highly regarded marketing or marketing management concentrations by choosing most of their electives in those departments, though the school states that marketing management is best for those who see a clear future in marketing specifically, while marketing can lead to more varied options upon graduation.
