The school's degree programs are shorter than most colleges.


Small class sizes, sometimes with less than a dozen students, are a draw for some learners to Patricia Stevens College. The St. Louis school's fashion merchandising program has both a one-and-a-half year program to earn an associate degree and a three-year program to earn a bachelor's degree, both programs are shorter than the traditional two- and four-year programs at other colleges. Both degree tracks include courses in learning merchandise, track trends and buy garments for a retail store. The bachelor's degree also includes advanced classes in merchandising and developing the visual portfolio. Although the school doesn't offer traditional college dorms, there are nearby apartment complexes that offer discounts to Patricia Stevens College students.
