5. Explain why you have chosen to apply to this specific university. Cite specific examples that led you to choose the school.
6. Let your personal statement reflect the college education you have already received, showing how your previous academic experience relates to your intended program of study.
7. Proofread your work for spelling, typos and grammatical errors. Have someone else proofread it as well before your send it in with your application.
