The Top 10 Public Law Schools

Some of the nation's best public law schools are in the Midwest and the South.


U.S. News and World Report ranks the top law schools in the United States every year. The magazine takes into account several factors when determining the rankings, including: facilities and faculty, bar passage rates and selectively of admission. While private schools hold many of the top rankings, public law schools are also highly ranked. A majority of the top 10 public schools are in the Midwest and South. Tuition for all the top programs were current as of the 2009-2010 school year.
