Gates Millennium Scholars
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program was established in 1999 for students who are African American, American Indian, Asian Pacific American and Hispanic American. This award package is for students who have maintained a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale and who participated in community service or extracurricular activities. The student must also be eligible for other forms of financial aid such as the federal Pell Grant. Students must submit three forms --- the Nominee Personal Form, Nominator Form and Recommendation Form --- to be considered for this scholarship. Best Buy @15 Scholarship
The Best Buy @15 Scholarship awards $1,000 to 1,000 high school students living in the United States and Puerto Rico. Recipients are students in the 9-12 grades who show excellent academic achievement while serving their communities through volunteer and other work efforts. Elon University Presidential Scholarship
Elon University, located in Elon, North Carolina, awards a number of merit-based scholarships to its students each year. The Presidential Scholarship is offered to students in the top one-fourth of their incoming freshman class, based on their high school grades, class rankings and ACT/SAT scores.
