Massachusetts residents looking to gain hands-on experience in a kitchen may also choose to study at North Shore Community College, located in Danvers. This accredited program offers degrees in culinary arts and chef training, and aims to create well-rounded, competent graduates seeking careers as restaurant designers, caterers, nutritionists, food researchers, and food writers. The program studies multicultural cuisine and helps to run an on-campus dining facility called The Scholar's Den.
