Parapsychology, a formal term for the study of psychic phenomena, has been a controversial issue in scientific circles for decades. Parapsychologists insist that telepathy, clairvoyance, mind-reading and other psychic subjects should be studied in a scientific manner like abnormal psychology and other types of psychology. Formal Parapsychology training is hard to find, but there are classes and opportunities to learn about the field if you look in the right places.
Instructions
1. Read books and articles on paranormal phenomena. Do an Internet search for books on subjects like telepathy, psychokinesis and mediums, then buy them or borrow them from the library for some informal but thorough training.
2. Find experts in the field and learn from them. You can find them through the American Association for Parapsychology and other organizations.
3. Get a degree. Although many colleges and universities offer courses in parapsychology and other psychic subjects, only a handful actually offer degrees in parapsychology. Check parapsychology organizations and authors for specific information on where to get this specialized degree.
4. Attend lectures on parapsychology and psychic seminars and events to get some training on the subject. Learn from others in the field. Become an assistant to a clairvoyant or parapsychologist and learn all you can from them.
5. Explore ESP, telepathy and clairvoyance on your own. Seek out and study people who claim to experience telepathy and other psychic phenomena.
6. Write reports about your training and post your findings on a blog or save them to write a book or academic paper on the subject as a way to connect with others in the field of parapsychology.
