Vet Tech Schools In Texas

A veterinary technicial assists the veterinarian in the care of the animals.


A veterinary technician works alongside a veterinarian, assisting him in examining the animal, obtaining vital signs and patient history, administering treatments, assisting in surgery and in administering diagnostic tests. To become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Texas, you must complete all of the training and educational requirements and pass the Texas Veterinary Medical Association's examination. Several schools in the Lone Star State offer a degree in veterinary technology.
