The exact credit requirements needed to get into a 4-year college will likely vary based on the college of your choice. Some colleges and universities may put an emphasis in one area while making allowances in another area. However, there are some core requirements that all colleges look for in prospective students. English Requirement
English is one subject that all 4-year colleges and universities will look for in prospective students. Most of them require 4 years of high school English credits to meet the basic entrance requirements. Students who are interested in applying for college should consider taking writing-intensive courses in high school.
