The degree offers three areas of concentration: design strategy, production workflow and brand development. Coursework includes design integration, measuring design effectiveness, design research, brand development, effective copywriting and presentation of design solution. All candidates for graduation will participate in a thesis project to propose a solution to a media design challenge. Coursework includes pedagogy of creative writing, seminar in comparative literary studies, film history, fiction writing, screenwriting, creative nonfiction and poetry writing.
