Improve Your Iq

An individual's IQ or intelligence quotient is determined by dividing a number representing one's mental age (determined by an IQ test) by their biological age and multiplying this by 100. If a 10-year-old is as intelligent as a normal 15-year-old, her IQ is 15/10 x 100 = 150.

Instructions

1. Take an IQ test. You won't know if you're improving without a starting point to measure from.

2. Improve your analytical abilities. IQ tests are designed to test your ability to process new information.

3. Try lateral thinking puzzles, number puzzles, shape puzzles and other problems and riddles which encourage your brain to work without outside input from a text book or trivial knowledge.

4. Improve your test taking skills. The only way to improve your IQ is through a test, which is almost always multiple-choice. Many test-taking techniques will help you to work speedily and accurately. Eliminate impossible choices and find standout choices. There are many techniques to help you.

5. Take the test in a calm and relaxed state. Focus your energies on the test. If coffee helps you concentrate drink one cup, but be careful because you don't want to be jittery. Sit upright in your chair, alert with good posture. Anything that helps in a test will also help in an IQ test.
