You can also edit your rough draft on the computer, editing it before printing it off as your final copy.
Introductory Paragraph
When writing your first paragraph, be sure to include an introduction to your topic or question, a clear and concise thesis statement, and a very brief outline of where you intend to take the argument.
Body
The body of the essay should be divided into different paragraphs dealing with the separate supporting points or evidence of your essay. The body explains your thesis in greater detail and supports your assertion with a logical argument supported by facts and evidence.
Conclusion
The conclusion to your essay should summarize how your argument and evidence supports your thesis statement.
Proof Reading, Citations and Bibliography
Be sure to proofread your essay for any spelling mistakes, typos and grammatical errors. All research supporting your essay should be cited according to the citation and bibliographical style of your subject or class. Ask your teacher or professor which form of bibliography and citations are acceptable.
