Canadian Advertising Schools

Advertising schools are often connected with marketing programs.

Advertising schools can be grouped into two categories, universities with full marketing and advertising programs and colleges with more technical advertising programs. University programs are typically regarded as more prestigious than college programs as entrance requirements are generally higher. However this does not mean that college programs or their graduates are any less qualified or likely to succeed in the advertising profession.

York University

York University is a large well known school located in Toronto. They offer degrees in marketing in which students learn advertising. York University offers undergraduate marketing programs through The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies in which students earn a B.A. degree and The Schulich School of Business where students earn a B.B.A degree. Both programs are four years and include other business subjects besides marketing and advertising.
