Games can add to the bonding of your sorority members.
A little friendly competition within a sorority adds to the good times sorority life can provide. The games will add some entertainment for everyone involved, even those that choose not to play them. The sorority games can be for the entire sorority, or as part of the right of passage for your pledges as they seek approval to enter the sisterhood of your sorority.
Have You Ever?
The game of have you ever finds out what your fellow sorority sisters have done, either recently or in their past. Each member brings a $10 roll of quarters. Players sit in a circle around a large bowl, with one sister chosen to start the game. She announces something that she has never done. Any sisters in the sorority that have done that task must place a quarter in the bowl. Turns continue in a clockwise rotation around the table. A player is eliminated when she has no quarters left. The winner is the last player with money remaining. The winner can either win the money in the bowl or a small prize, with the money going to the sorority to offset expenses for future events.
Scavenger Hunt
This can be a game for the entire sorority, or for your pledges. Create a list of items to collect around campus. Add a little sexual tension to the game by including items such as a pair of underwear signed by as many members of a specified fraternity as possible. Another possible item would be a condom with the male giving it to her, signing the package of the condom. Items to collect that are a little tamer include a flag in the sorority's colors, lipstick and other makeup that match the sorority's colors and fliers advertising events being hosted by other Greek organizations on campus. Give the players one hour to collect these items and assign points values for each item collected. The player or team with the most points wins; if there is a tie, the one involved in the tie that returns first wins.
How Well Do You Know Your Sister?
In this game, the big and little sister in a sorority are paired up to compete together against other pairs. Questions are asked of each member of the pair such as her favorite movie, first person she kissed at college, favorite food or hottest outfit. After one member of the pair answers the questions in writing, the other must try to guess her answers. The two then switch with the other trying to guess her partner's answers. Pairs compete to get the most answers correct. The sorority sisters that have the most answers correct as a team are the winners.
Guess the Drink
Before the game begins, choose a couple of the sorority sisters to create 10 mixed drinks. This game should only be played by those 21 or older due to alcohol being involved, and drinking should be done in moderation. Small samples of the drinks are then prepared for each of the players in the game. Each sister must try to identify the drink based on sight, smell and color. They each write down their guesses after tasting each of the drinks. To fool the competitors, the drink makers may include one or two without alcohol as well, such as soda or a fruit juice. Once all 10 drinks have been tasted and everyone made their guesses, the answers are revealed. The sister with the most correct is the winner. If there is a tie, they must chug a beer, with the first to finish being the winnner.
