MPA stands for Master of Public Administration. This degree is earned after a bachelor's degree. Some MPA degrees have a specialization in health care management that allows graduates to be prepared to run the day-to-day operations of a hospital. These include organizing staff schedules, increasing hospital publicity and making sure supplies are well stocked.
