Edit Posts On Facebook

You can edit your Facebook posts.


If you have Facebook account, you have probably made a mistake when posting to your wall or notes. The spelling may be have been wrong, or the message may have accidentally posted before you were done typing. If you need to edit your post, there are two different ways. Notes actually allow you to edit and resave the original message, while wall posts require you to delete the original post and create a new post.


Instructions


Editing Wall Posts








1. Highlight and copy the text in post that you wish to edit.


2. Hover the mouse over the post. An "X" button will appear to the right of the post.


3. Click the "X" to delete the post. Confirm that you really want to delete it.


4. Paste the copied text into a new post. Make whatever edits are required.


5. Post the edited text.


Editing Notes


6. Go to the note that you want to edit.








7. Click the "Edit" button to the right of the note's title.


8. Make whatever edits that you want.


9. Click "Save" when you are done editing.
